Download Thread Title Rules
Consistency in the format of "Download Titles" is important, and here are the guidelines.
General (Applies to most, if not all types of downloads)
Download titles must:- not contain dots between words (dots in version numbers are still required).
- Corel.WordPerfect.Office.X3 13.0.0.470 -- No
- adhere to (upper/lower) case in words.
- Corel wordperfect office x3 13.0.0.470 -- No
- not contain unnecessary descriptions, etc.
- Corel WordPerfect Office X3 13.0.0.470 - MS Office Alternative! -- No
- anything in brackets must be suffixed, not prefixed.
- (Xbox 360) Saints Row -- No
- Saints Row (Xbox 360) -- Yes
- not contain release group names.
- The Number 23.CAM-SenTeLLo -- No
- Sonic The Hedgehog-PARADOX -- No
Apps (Software)
Download titles must:- contain version numbers.
- Corel WordPerfect Office X3 13.0.0.470 -- Yes
- Corel WordPerfect Office -- No
GamesDownload titles must:- not be suffixed with "PC"/"(PC)" if it is a PC game. It is assumed a PC game.
- Need for Speed: Carbon (PC) -- No
- Need for Speed: Carbon -- Yes
- be suffixed with the console name in brackets if not a PC game.
- Sonic The Hedgehog (PS3) -- Yes
- Burnout Dominator (PS2) -- Yes
- NBA Street Homecourt (Xbox 360) -- Yes
- Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) -- Yes
- also be suffixed with the region, if available:
- G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (EUR) (PSP) -- Yes
MoviesDownload titles must:- be submitted in the following format:
- Movie Name (YYYY)
Where "Movie Name" is the name of the film and "YYYY" is the year it was released in.- The Departed (2006) -- Yes

- Lost in Translation (2003) -- Yes
- Lost in Translation -- No
- be suffixed with the language in brackets, if not in English:
- Movie Name (YYYY) (Language)
Where "Language" is the name of the language.- Lage Raho Munnabhai (2006) (Hindi) -- Yes
TVDownload titles must:- be submitted in the following format:
- if it is a single TV episode:
TV Show Name - SXXEYY
-OR-
TV Show Name - SXXEYY - Episode Name
Where "TV Show Name" is the name of the TV show, "XX" is the season number and "YY" is the episode number.- Lost - S03E11 -- Yes
- Day Break - S01E10 -- Yes
- if it is a number of TV episodes:
TV Show Name - SXX - EYY-EZZ
-OR-
TV Show Name - Season X - Episodes Y-Z
Where "YY" is the episode number of the first episode in the range of episodes and "ZZ" the last.- Lost - S03 - E01-E11 -- Yes
- Lost - Season 3 - Episodes 1-11 -- Yes
- if it is a complete season:
TV Show Name - Season X
